Hikvision 8MP 180° ColorVu Panoramic Turret Camera
The DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL-4 combines two 4mm lenses into one wide scene for monitoring building frontages, forecourts and broad access areas. Colour imaging and active warnings help capture events and deter intruders.
Key Features
- Two 1/1.8-inch sensors with a stitched 5120 × 1440 image.
- Approximately 180° horizontal and 44° vertical view.
- F1.0 aperture and ColorVu imaging; white light supports colour capture in darkness.
- Supplementary white illumination up to 30m.
- 130dB WDR, human/vehicle classification and active strobe/audio alarm.
- H.265+, H.265, H.264+ and H.264 compression.
- IP67 water and dust protection.
Recording Performance
| Lens | Dual fixed 4mm lenses. |
| Maximum stream | 5120 × 1440 panoramic image. |
| Frame rate at 50Hz | Up to 20fps with WDR off; 12.5fps with WDR on. |
| Frame rate at 60Hz | Up to 20fps with WDR off; 15fps with WDR on. |
Panoramic Camera Compatibility
Before purchase, check that your NVR supports the camera’s 5120 × 1440 panoramic stream. An NVR advertised as supporting 8MP cameras may still have restrictions on panoramic resolutions. Confirm recording, live view, playback and event support for the exact recorder and firmware.
A wide view is useful for overall scene coverage; identification detail still depends on the subject distance, camera height and lighting. Aim the camera carefully and test the outer edges of the image during commissioning.
